BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES OFFICER
Travellers? Voice Magazine is the only national publication in
Ireland with a key focus on the positive promotion of the Traveller
community; it has been in print since **Apply on the website**. In
recent times the magazine has undergone a dramatic transformation to
become a more informative and educational tool, as well as having a
design overhaul to equal any mainstream professional publication.
They position will also require the successful candidate to develop
executive marketing plans so that state service providers can
communicate directly through Travellers? Voice magazine. The primary
responsibility is to increase revenue for the Traveller Voice economic
enterprise as well as elevate the Travellers? Voice brand.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Creating detailed, costed and sustainable proposals so as state
agencies , NGOs and private bodies utilise the magazine for the
promotion of their services
* Secure private businesses to advertise in the magazine
* Increase the sales of the Travellers Voice Magazine by offering a
digital version to schools etc. at a reduced annual subscription fee.
* Support the establishment of an online, subscription based
communication / news platform for all Traveller related services,
issues and information
* Work with the manager and team to increase the Circulation of
Traveller Voice into every Traveller home.
* Work with the manager and team to increase readership figures
among the settled community
* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
* Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new
business
* Negotiating the terms of agreements and closing sales
* Gathering market and customer information
* Representing Travellers? Voice at trade exhibitions and events
* Gaining a clear understanding of client business and requirements
* Increase the profile of the Travellers Voice magazine by
increasing the understanding of the community
REQUIREMENTS:
* Fluent level of English, both written and spoken
* Customer Service / Sales experience
* Strong written communication ability
* A Third Level qualification in relevant disciplines
* Have a full clean driving licence
